Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]F-RESCA-R8B4-RenJi Hospital is a CD70-targeted immuno-positron emission tomography (immunoPET) imaging tracer developed by RenJi Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The agent consists of the R8B4 single-domain antibody (sdAb), also known as a nanobody, which specifically binds to the tumor-associated antigen CD70. It is radiolabeled with the positron-emitting isotope fluorine-18 using the aluminum fluoride restrained complexing agent (AlF-RESCA) method, which provides a stable and efficient labeling process. CD70 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily and is highly expressed in several malignancies, including clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and various lymphomas, while maintaining low expression in healthy tissues. [18F]F-RESCA-R8B4 is designed to provide high-resolution PET/CT imaging for the non-invasive assessment of CD70 expression, aiding in tumor detection, staging, and the selection of patients for CD70-targeted therapies.
